Do you remember the great Leicester City side that became Champions in 1963?
Or the time Johan Cruyff signed for Leicester City?
What about the Leicester City that played non-league football in season 2003/04?
No? That’s because none of this happened.
But it could have.
This fascinating, unique book explores key moments in Leicester City’s history and imagines what might have been.
‘What If?’ is a must buy for all Leicester City fans.

A different take on the history of City, told through the lens of what didn’t happen. An original book that was full of little in jokes and references that only a true fox would understand.

Loved it. Very creative, very different and funny in places. Really makes you think about what could have happened. Hopefully the author will do another what if book but about major football moments.

As a West Ham fan, this is not about my own club, but as a football fan in general it is a great read!
I was a follower of the amazing Leicester City title triumph a few years ago and was attracted by the novel concept of exploring what might have happened to the club if things had gone differently in various seasons before and after that season.
In fact it covers a wide history of the club, and key events, back to the 60’s, and brings back memories of years and events in years past, but with a twist!
Highly recommended to any football fan of any age!

This book was very different to the normal sports books that I read – but I liked it! You often hear people asking what if but no one has ever explored, in writing, how a club’s fortunes may have changed. It was so well researched that I couldn’t tell which bits were fact and which were fiction. Bravo!

This is a must-read for LCFC fans. Wasn’t sure of the “What If” premise initially but it’s actually very, very good. Some terrible (yet hilarious) photoshops, clever references and plenty of laugh out loud moments.

Great read. A fun book that takes a tongue in cheek look at City’s history. Some really funny bits but it’s very subtle. If you’re a Leicester fan who knows the club’s history you will get it.

What an amazing, unique book!
As a life-long Leicester city fan I found this most enjoyable. I wondered where it was going for some of the chapters, but it all made sense in the end. Although this book is a work of fiction, I found it very believable. I also learnt a lot about the real history of the club.
A great easy read that would appeal to everyone who enjoys reading about football, not just supporters of Leicester.

I thought it was a good book. I learnt a lot about leicesters history and enjoyed the writers thoughts on what might have happened. Hard to tell what was real and what was made up though although i suppose that was the point.
